RAD* 197: Clinical Practices I2 Credits Supervised clinical experience involving general radiography, fluoroscopy, operating room, emergency room and portable radiography. Students will apply principles learned in the classroom to develop skills in patient care, communication, patient positioning, image production, and radiation protection and gain competence in routine imaging of the chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities. Students will also be introduced to pediatric imaging through clinical rotations at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Prerequisites: Acceptance in the Radiologic Science program Offered: Fall
