3 Credits (Formerly ENG 111) Composition focuses on the study and practice of effective written communication across a variety of rhetorical situations. The course develops skills in applying language conventions, engaging with and using authoritative sources, and crafting logical arguments. Note: A grade of “C” or better in ENG* 101 is required to take ENG* 110 or ENG* 200. Prerequisites: Completion of ENG* 093 or ENG* 096 with a C or better, or by placement process.
