CSC* 286: Microprocessor Assembly language4 Credits (Formerly CS 215) This course is an introduction to the programming and interfacing of a microprocessor. Topics include assembly language programming, bus architecture, the datapath, addressing methods, memory systems, interrupts, analog to digital and digital to analog conversion, use of a Multifunction Multiprocessor Support Controller, data acquisition and process control systems. The course includes a microprocessor laboratory component.
