BFN* 120: Investment Basics1 Credits (Formerly FNCE 150) Introduction to the basics of money management: budgeting, saving, and investing. Students will develop an understanding of reconciling bank or brokerage statements, reading stock, bond, and mutual fund listings in The Wall Street Journal, and learning what to look for in a mutual fund prospectus and an annuity contract. Students will also be introduced to various retirement programs (IRA, Keogh, 401k, 403b, etc.). Prerequisites: None Offered: Occasionally
