ENG* 262: Women in Literature3 Credits (Formerly ENG 271) This course explores the nature, roles, relationships, and feelings of women as expressed by women writers in various literary genres (essays, short stories, personal reflections, poems, plays and novels). Students will read the works of women writers of the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries who share their ideas and understanding of what it is to be human and, particularly, to be female.
