SLP* 112: Speech and Language Services in the Educational Setting3 Credits This course will address professional issues related to the role of the Speech/Language Pathology Assistant in the practice of speech/language pathology in schools. Topics will include, but are not limited to, the legal and policy framework for school services, ethical practice, supervision, collaboration, scheduling, data collection, advocating, professional development, resources, and professional trends. This course includes an observation component. Prerequisites: SLP* 111 or concurrently taking SLP* 111 . Offered: Spring
