SOC* 205: Sociology In Film3 Credits This course is designed to teach key sociological topics through film. In this course, we will examine how a range of social issues are depicted in both documentary and popular film. Students study such issues as race relations, family dynamics, urbanization, gender and reproduction, and crime by viewing films, analyzing the films’ content, and reading sociology literature.
