LGL* 102: Legal Research and Writing3 Credits (Formerly LEGL 112) Provides an understanding of the basic tools of legal research. Students will become familiar with the use of the law library, examining primary and secondary authorities and law-finding tools. Research procedural methods are advanced through case examples and problem-solving techniques. Research findings are reported in legal memoranda. An off-campus law library must be used.
