PHY* 122: General Physics II4 Credits (Formerly PHYS 122) Basic concepts of electricity, magnetism and wave motion, including electric and magnetic fields, electromagnetic radiation, wave properties of light and optics. A TI-83+ or TI-84+ or TI-86+ graphing calculator required. Class: 3 hours per week. Laboratory 3 hours per week. Prerequisites: Completion of PHY* 121 with a C or higher. Students who have taken a higher level physics course will not receive credit for this course. Offered: Spring Fulfills General Education - Knowledge of Physical & Natural Sciences
