RSP* 141: Principles of Respiratory Care

This course introduces the student to basic principles of clinical respiratory care. Topics include but are not limited to: medical gas therapy, humidification, aerosol therapy, physical assessment techniques, OSHA and infection control standards, oxygen therapy, ethics, professionalism and medical documentation. This course has an integrated laboratory.
Prerequisites: To be taken concurrently with RSP* 121.
